Apple candle

Give your home a nice Fall touch with this easy apple candle.

What you need:

  • 1 apple
  • 1 small candle
  • 1 knife 

Put it together:

With the knife, make a small hole at the top of the apple. Insert the candle inside the apple. Light up immediately or keep for up to one week.

Grapes and flax seeds face mask

This mask was inspired by Lush’s Cosmetic Warrior face mask, which uses grapes for their ability to moisturize and thoroughly cleanse skin. The glycerin and honey help prevent dry skin and give it a nice glow.

What you need:

Makes 2 face masks:

  • 7 grapes
  • Glycerin (½ teaspoon)*
  • Flax seeds (1 teaspoon)
  • Honey (½ teaspoon)

Combine all the ingredients in the blender and let rest for a few minutes for the flax seeds to expand.

Apply:

After combining the ingredients, apply the mixture to your face for 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a towel. Your face will be sof and refreshed!

Cantaloupe avocado conditioner

Keep your dry locks deeply noursished with this rich cantaloupe and avocado conditioner. 

WHAT YOU NEED:

Cut the cantaloupe and the avocado in half. Chop into 1 inche pieces. Add the coconut oil and blend everything together.

APPLY:

Apply the conditioner on wet hair and let rest for 5 minutes. Rinse really well. You can store the remaining conditioner in a sealed container of ziplock for a couple of weeks in the fridge.

Strawberry cocoa lip balm

This easy and delicious stawberry lip balm smells as sweet as it tastes and will keep your lips moisturized.

Strawberry lip balm

What you need:

Grate the strawberry into a low heat pan and add one tablespoon of cocoa butter. Stir for 3 minutes. Pour into a small container (we used Beuaticom small jars). Store in the fridge.

Apply:

Dab a little of the strawberry cocoa butter on your lips to moisturize them. Place the jar back in the fridge to keep for a week.

Mango oats facial mask

The combination of mango pulp and oatmeal is ideal to smooth off rough skin and moisturize your face. The rough texture of the oats help remove dead cells while the mango nurishes the skin.

 

Mix:

  • 2 tablespoons mango pulp

  • 2 teaspoons ground oats

Apply:

Gently rub the mixture onto your face for 5 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.
